We’re new, we’re growing and together we are embarking upon a great adventure. Our team is a selected blend of beer and eCommerce specialists. Together we make a great team and our pack is looking for master coding wulfs...

We are looking for:
- A junior .NET specialist (1-2 years of experience)
- A medior .NET specialist (2-4 years of experience)

You expand our eCommerce webshop with cutting edge features and by doing so: making our company a success. Are you up for this challenge?

Your ‘typical’ day @the office as our Backend Developer

As a start-up we are still building our team and try to work from the office as much as possible. Working hours are relatively flexible. Meeting your deliverables is what matters most. How you meet them? That’s mostly up to you, but you are a self-starter, so this shouldn’t be a problem.

Every day we have our daily stand-up. We use this brief meeting to update each other. Each day is different, but your activities most probably are related to discussing any new developments. As one of the Codemaster Wulf pack you are keen on reaching business value, so your ears are always pointed towards your (business) colleagues.

New kids on the blok
We've got a senior developer (Menno) already in-house. But he needs help!
Because we're already aiming for European expansion this year there is a lot of coding to do... 
You will become our second (or third) in-house developer.
And that is exciting! 

You don't have to build everything from scratch. We do have a proper webshop running and there is an additional (external) team working on the webshop. It's up to you and Menno to further develop and upgrade our shop. For example, you build a new brewers portal combined with pioneering social media features.

Therefore you aren't a standard developer. You are creative. You look for business value. You are in charge.

You are our backend developer, but as a member of this start-up, you don’t mind working on other cross-functional projects in which you are able to show your strong organizational and multitasking skills.

It’s important we know our beers. Beer is everywhere, so the work is never done. It will most likely grow on you, and after some time you will stop and take a look at beers in bars, supermarkets, festivals and online. You will become (if not already) curious and excited about beer!

The things you bring to as our new Backend Developer

The necessary bit... As our Backend Developer you embrace the Beerwulf® platform and it's wonderful codes.

Where old-school backend developers lose sight of the business and clients, you have the ability to always keep this perspective at heart. Coding your way towards client focused improvements is a piece of cake for you.

You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a discipline such as Information Technology. You have proficient knowledge and experience of programming in .NET and you really hit the spot when you have EPIserver experience. 

Knowledge of frontend techniques as HTML, jQuery, CSS and Javascript is a big plus. While we're at it, a MCTS- or MCPD- certification will definitely give you a head start. 

When you can convince us of your drive to make this position a success and meet your deliverables, then that's all we need. Some experience in a similar role would come in handy,  especially for the Medior vacancy. 

You are proficient in English and master the art of codes.  

Your best friends describe you as passionate, accurate and funny (or very willing to laugh at our jokes).

In the best case scenario, you will have two interviews before you’re hired. The first one will be with Roel Hermens, who will probably invite Menno to join the interview.
